The onboarding process

Setup takes about 10 minutes and can be paused at any point - your progress is saved.

1. 1. Create your family account

   Sign up with your email address and choose a password. Your account creates a family workspace that only you and the guardians you invite can see.

2. 2. Set up 2-factor security

   Straight after signing up you are guided through authenticator-app setup. Scan the QR code with Google or Microsoft Authenticator and enter the 6-digit code. School data is sensitive, so this step is required for every account.

3. 3. Add your children

   Add each child with their name, year group, class and an avatar. You can add dietary needs, medical notes and permissions so the whole family sees the same information.

4. 4. Add their schools

   Link each child to their school and record the term dates, session times and pickup arrangements. Children at different schools are handled side by side.

5. 5. Record the platforms each school uses

   Tell us which systems your school runs for meals, clubs, payments, messaging and childcare. SchoolHub Club stores your deep links so you jump straight into the right place instead of hunting for logins.

6. 6. Confirm the week ahead

   Add this week's meals, clubs, PE days and payments. From then on the dashboard tracks deadlines and flags anything outstanding.

7. 7. Invite the rest of the family

   Invite a partner, grandparent or carer so nothing depends on one person's inbox. Everyone sees the same alerts and can mark items complete.
